Moonshine Chalet is a 2 bedroom rental cabin in Gatlinburg, TN
A 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom chalet on Ski Mountain. Features include a king size master bedroom downstairs with fireplace, flat screen TV, and ample space, a queen size bedroom upstairs with a flat screen TV, seating, and cathedral ceiling, and a loft with a full size futon and an arcade machine. There are bright, airy, and spacious bathrooms on each floor for privacy and convenience. Moonshine Chalet is well suited for a family of 6 or a small group exploring the Smoky Mountains area. The chalet is conveniently located to the city of Gatlinburg and all attractions that Gatlinburg offers visitors (2.5 miles), Ober Gatlinburg (1.9 miles), you can watch the Sky Lift ascending and descending the mountain from the cabin and the deck, Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance (2.5 miles), and all the attractions in Pigeon Forge (8 Miles) including amusement parks, shows, museums, and shopping. There is ample parking for two vehicles. The mountain community offers access to several swimming pools, playgrounds, tennis courts, and clubhouse.
The wraparound deck of Moonshine Chalet provides panoramic views of old growth woodlands surrounding the cabin, and incredible nightly views of the lights of the city of Gatlinburg. You will feel like you are the king of the mountain. The deck provides access to your private 4 person spa for relaxation and tranquility; you will hardly realize that you are 2.5 miles from the city. The deck also gives you the opportunity to play a round of pool on the outdoor pool table while enjoying the natural setting that the cabin provides. There is also an outdoor charcoal grill for preparing BBQ’s and picnic style cooking.
The great room makes up much of the main floor, with an open floor plan that includes a large dinning space which is open to the kitchen with large central island for gathering, serving, and food preparation. Large windows let in plenty of sunshine and views which remind you that you are at the top of the mountain. The towering cathedral ceiling combined with the stone fireplace, and flat screen TV in the great room and comfortable leather seating will provide the relaxation and rejuvenation from your adventures. The cabin is furnished with plenty of board games, reading materials, WIFI internet, and cable television to keep the interests of all guests.
The large dining table seats 6 with room to spare, there is additional seating at the central island in the event that guests are hosted at the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed with the required appliances including a dishwaher, coffee maker (standard and Keurig), microwave, toaster, blender, dishes, and cookware to make your meals gourmet, or if you choose there are many incredible restaurants in the area for your group’s enjoyment. You will find plenty of linens available and extra linens are available to ensure your comfort. The cabin features a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board for your convenience.

In less than 10 minutes you can be at Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area, where you can ski and snowboard in winter as well as ice-skating, visit the Wildlife Encounter and enjoy amusement rides year-round. The hiking and biking trails, wildlife, and waterfalls of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are just a 10-minute drive; so is downtown Gatlinburg, home to Anakeesta, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, mini golf, thrill rides, arcades, and more.
